What is the typical lead time for airport-scale acoustic material supply?
Lead times depend on volumes and the mix of standard versus customised products. Why do airport announcements become unintelligible?
Because terminal halls are large, hard-surfaced volumes with long reverberation times. Each announcement overlaps the tail of the one before it, and crowd noise raises the floor the PA has to compete with. The fix is absorption at high level across the terminal ceiling, not a louder PA.
